SEA BRIGHT: Two major Sea Bright road projects will be starting this fall.
The first project will see the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) resurfacing Route 36 (Ocean Avenue) from the Monmouth Beach border to the Sea Bright-Rumon Bridge.
Crews will be milling and repaving the stretch in October, according to borough officials. An exact start date has not yet been announced and the length of time the road will be impacted by the work has also not yet been established.
Around the same time, New Jersey American Water (NJAW) will begin installing a new water on Route 36 from the Sea Bright-Rumson Bridge to the borough's border with Sandy Hook.
The borough has not provided any further information on this project as of Monday, Sept. 11, so we'll be sure to follow up once more is revealed.
