West Long Branch:Five Shore Regional students officially signed with universities with full sport scholarships. Pictured below are (from left to right): Ryan Loerhr, Kendall Rich, Drew Maher, Meaghan Hellmers and Gavin Hegglin. The announcement caps off 4 years of sports excellence for these young athletes at Shore Regional.
Drew Mahr from Monmouth Beach will attend Penn State University in State College in the Fall and plans to study Business Management. At Shore he excelled in track and will be looking to continue that "run" at PSU.
Ryan Loehr from West Long Branch is headed to Post University in Waterbury, CT where he will continue his sports passion for cross country. His career interests are in Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
Kendall Rich of West Long Branch is off to West Chester University, West Chester, PA where she plans to major in Criminal Justice. Kendall earned a scholarship for womens soccer.
Meaghan Hellmers from West Long Branch will be attending Lafayette University, Easton, PA on a track scholarship. Her higher education focus is in Biology.
Gavin Hegglin, also from West Long Branch will be heading cross town to Monmouth University on a track scholarship. Gavin is still contemplating his university studies focus.

In the last 5 years 37 students have sign National Letter of Intents to Division 1, 1-AA and Division 2 schools. We wish them all great success in both their higher ed studies and continuing sports careers.
