Richie Gallo Turns 80... What A Party!

Long Branch:  Richie Gallo turned 80 and his family and friends had a party in his honor at the Elks Club on Saturday.   And what a party it was!

Everybody likes the guy, so the fact they filled the Elks ballroom was no surprise. And to see the generations of Gallo family members was no surprise ether. They have a Gallo family party every year and fill pools and parking spaces.

Music was classical 50s through the 80s, with a WWII tune in the mix as well. Richie is a Navy vet so “I’ll Be Seeing You” and “Unforgettable” were easy to hum along with as Joe Stroffolino, DJ Guiseppe and Jaynie Giglio sang and manned the music box.  They even belted out a Barbra Streisand “Memories”, which had waiters and waitresses joining in in song.
