Red Bank Regional Graduation
|
Little Silver: Under cloudless blue skies Jared Katzman, President of Class 2012, made the welcome address, followed by Charles Fox, the Salutatorian and Ari Beller, the Valedictorian. The President of the RBR Board of Education John Garofalo presented each graduate with their diploma as very proud parents, grandparents, family and friends looked on.
The Class of 2012 is on their way to Princeton, Yale, Brown and locally Monmouth University as well as many schools in between. It is reported that 30 students from the class will attend Brookdale Community College in Lincroft this Fall. Red Bank Regional HS Graduates qualified for a monumental $4.5 million in scholarships to continue their education.
Even Superman made an appearance to receive his diploma last night. Anthony Vogel, who will join the Marines in October donned a costume and ‘flew’ across the field to the delight of all. But we can report that last night all the graduates of the Class of 2012 were Supermen and Superwoman.
With diploma in hand, mortarboards were thrown to the air - an evening of wonderful memories to be kept by all.
Congratulations to the Class of 2012!
