Those who have driven by the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center this week will notice that some progress in its repairs have been made.
The center was closed after a September 2016 fire severely damaged the building's office and history room.
However, the first phase of repairs began this week and will include exterior repairs and repairs to the structural damages inside the building.
According to the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center Facebook page, the charred history room has already been removed this week.
