Police Arrest Two Juveniles For Twinbrook Village Armed Robbery

The following is a press release from the Ocean Township Police:

On May 27th, 2017 Police Officers Joseph Larkins & Dave Marino responded to Aldrin Road for a report of an armed robbery.

Officers learned that the victim was walking his dog and was approached by a male later identified as 17-year-old-male who engaged him in conversation. During this conversation a second subject later identified as a 17-year-old-male approached with a knife. The two juveniles demanded alcohol from the victim. The victim called a friend who brought the alcohol to the location and also notified the police. Once in possession of the alcohol the two juveniles fled the area and the victim was unharmed.

Further investigation revealed that two juveniles remained in the area and were spotted in the complex while patrol officers were investigating. Police recovered the alcohol along with the knife that was used in the crime. The juveniles were taken into custody without incident and were lodged at the Middlesex Youth Detention Center and charged with Robbery, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose.
