Police Arrest Ocean Township Burglary Suspect

The following is a press release from the Ocean Township Police:

Within the past several days, patrol officers and detectives responded to multiple residential burglaries in the Oakhurst section of Ocean Township. Some residences were left unlocked and some sustained damage when the suspect forced entry. Detectives continued their investigation and information was developed which led them to the suspect, Ricardo Stridiron, 56, of Ocean Grove.

On May 25th, 2017, Ricardo Stridiron was located in Ocean Grove, and taken into custody by Detectives Walker and Legg. Some of the burglary proceeds were also recovered by th e detectives. Stridiron was charged with burglary, theft, possession of burglary tools and criminal mischief. He was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending his initial court appearance.

Police had been searching for Stridiron since a May 23rd burglary at an Oakhurst residence located between Larchwood and Norwood Avenue.
