Perkin's Restaurant Eatontown Closes

  Email

Eatontown: The Perkin's Family Restaurant on Highway 35 South in Eatowntown near the main entrance to Ft. Monmouth closed for good recently. The franchise chain which has struggled financially since 2001 amidst bankruptcy proceedings and restructuring has shed a number of locations over the years.

This location is now closed for good with the property up for sale for $1.75 Million or possible lease for $10,000/mo.

Perkin's was known as a comfort food restaurant, loved for it's breakfast fare, especially pancakes.

Local Shrewsbury resident Ava LaMonte loved the pancakes and Joanne, her favorite server. She is heartbroken over the closing. She and her Dad visited once a week and will miss it greatly as will many in the area.
