Ocean Township Independence Day Celebration Begins Tonight

OCEAN TOWNSHIP: The town is celebrating the Fourth of July a day early this year.

The Ocean Township Independence Day Celebration is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Joe Palaia Park on the corner of Deal Road and Whalepond Road.

There will be food vendors, entertainment, face painting and fireworks once the sky gets nice and dark.

The Ocean Township Police are reminding resident that dogs are not allowed at the event and should remain home.

Parking for the event is limited some of the side streets which have been marked with "No Parking" signs, so arriving early will be key.

"We're expecting a large crowd so give yourself plenty of time to park and find a spot to post up at," the Ocean Township Police stated.
