A silent auction at the foyer entrance set the stage for fund raising, tables of jewelry, women's charming hats and other merchandise more casual and styled in traditional mode of fashions fitting to the group's history and modern use today.

The formalities began with a welcome from Drifter Beverly Cotton and Greetings from President Carolyn v Woody and National Drifters Vice President Denise Taylor. Drifter Cassandra Keys offered the Invocation and lunch was served.

The menu was salad and entrée choices of Chicken Francoise or Salmon in a delightful butter sauce, with tasty veggies to crown the dishes.

As most were finishing lunch Drifter Keyes brought the five scholarship candidates to the stage where they were introduced individually and each shared their goals along with their thanks to the attendees for their generous support.

Fashions for the show were presented by Beverly Cotton and Fashions from Karen's Boutique, Flemington Furs, and Rubi' Crowns.
