Friends Helping Friends at Ron’s West End Pub

Long Branch:  When Sue DesMarais and Jennifer Gallagher lost their home and a beloved dog last week in a tragic fire, friends reached out with a fundraiser at Ron’s West End Pub yesterday.  The two are now from Jackson but were once and always will be Long Branchers.   

Ron’s is a popular gathering place in West End and Sunday was even busier with this special event.  Local friends hosted as Ron manned the bar and kept thirsty visitors happy.  Even patrons who did not know the pair joined in with contributions and the friendly partying.

A special thanks went out to Janet Albrecht and Jodi and Jason Zimmermann for their special aid in saving another of their pets - a dog that needed extensive care at a local vet.    Sue and Jennifer have four adopted canines that survived the fire and needed medical attention.
