Perth Amboy:  Fireworks last night on the Raritan Bay off The Amboy's - Perth Amboy and South Amboy.   The fireworks display with vantage points from several towns along the water and best viewed from sea is contending to be a replacement for the Red Bank celebration which was called off this year due to financial and security concerns.

WORD has it that next year Perth Amboy, South Amboy, Carteret and Sea Warren are combining resources to offer a show-stopping display.
