Lady Bucs Shutout Neptune

Wall: Senior Pitcher Alexis Hines got the win for the Red Bank Regional HS Lady Bucs, the losing pitcher for Neptune was Katie Hourihan.  Hines gave up 2 hits, struck out 8, walked 5 and gave up no runs.  Hourihan gave up 5 hits, struck out 8 and gave up 1 run.

Morgan Schroll for Red Bank went 3 for 3 with a triple and also had the game winning RBI.  Jessica Scotti got on base with an error by the second baseman for Neptune, was moved over on a sacrifice bunt by Rebecca Pryzwara and scored when Morgan Schroll singled.

This is the first time in school history that Red Bank has won the MCT.  Red Bank is seeded #6 in the State Playoffs and will face #11, Bordentown.   The Lady Bucs will host Bordentown HS in the first round of State Playoffs at Red Bank on Tuesday, May 22^nd at 4pm.
