Monmouth Park Adds Another Shore Favorite As Food Vendor

  Email

Just a few days after unveiling that Strollo's Lighthouse will be one of the food options at Monmouth Park this summer, another local favorite will also be setting up shop at the Oceanport racetrack this racing season.

Oceanport Councilman Joseph Irace announced during the April 20 borough council meeting that Max's Famous Hot Dogs will be a vendor at Monmouth Park.

Max's Famous Hot Dogs is located at 25 Matilda Terrace in Long Branch and has sparked a long-standing debate among locals on whether their hot dogs or the Windmill's are the best in the area.

Irace also announced that Blu Grotto will be handling the food service at Monmouth Park this season. Blu Grotto is an upscale Italian restaurant near the miniature golf course at the park.
