MONMOUTH BEACH: The annual Fireman's Fair kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 7.
The fairgrounds have been set up in the parking lot at Little Monmouth on Ocean Avenue and the festivities will run from 6 p.m.-11 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and from 5-10 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10.
This year's fair will feature games of chance, new rides and attractions as well as fire engine rides on the Monmouth Beach Fire Company's antique Mack Engine.
There will be plenty of delicious food options including lobster dinners, steamers, sausage and pepper sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers. The beer/wine garden will also be open each night for visitors who are 21 and older.
Opening night live entertainment will be provided by Pam McCoy and Friends followed by West End Dogs on Friday night. The Sundries will perform on Saturday night and the Pez Head Band will close out the fair on Sunday evening.
Fireman's night is Friday, Sept. 8 with $10 mugs and Sunday is bracelet night where visitors can pay one price from all the rides. Fireworks will be held on the beach on Saturday at dusk.
