Taste of Summer
Please join us for a Taste of Summer Culinary Extravaganza at the Channel Club in Monmouth Beach on Thursday, March 2nd from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Our very own talented local chefs and restaurants will prepare tasting plates for you to sample and enjoy while admiring the spectacular river view! Lent Lunch
The Greater Long Branch Ministerium announces its 2047 Lenten Lunch schedule. For many years, the churches of the Ministerium have hosted lunches during the Wednesdays in Lent to provide a time for food, fellowship and Lenten reflections and worship. The location for all the lunches is St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 535 Broadway in Long Branch. Member churches take turns bringing the meal and hosting the afternoon program. The lunch is free. An offering is received to support Ministerium activiites. The lunches will be Wednesday 3/8 – 4/12 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 P.M. There is ample free parking at the church. Enter through the parking lot doors and proceed downstairs to Fellowship Hall. The community is invited to come and enjoy these lunches.
