Spring Concert is the culminating event of a six-week rock band program offered by the Count Basie Theatre's Performing Arts Academy, and Rockit, directed by Bruce Gallipani. The program's goal is to help young musicians learn and grow through music and performance, providing an instant opportunity to learn teamwork, cooperation and good rehearsal and performance technique by playing Rock & Roll with their peers. This term's concert features rock and roll classics from the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's. |
