One of Comedy Central’s Top 25 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time, Steven Wright is best known for his slow, monotone delivery of ironic, clever and often peculiar one-liners like, “You can't have everything. Where would you put it?,” or, “I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.” His credits include two Grammy nominated albums, an Academy Award for his short film, The Appointments of Dennis Jennings and his own HBO Specials. A frequent guest on all the talk shows, his film and TV credits include Desperately Seeking Susan, Mad About You, several episodes of Saturday Night Live, and voicing for Comedy Central’s cartoon Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist and Fox TV’s The Simpsons.
