The annual Long Branch Columbus Day Parade will kick off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8.
The parade will start at Long Branch Middle School on Bath Avenue and travel to Broadway and end on Morris Avenue at the Morris Avenue School.
School bands from Long Branch and neighboring towns, local civic organizations and members of the Long Branch Council along with Mayor Adam Schneider will be among the marchers.
In the event of rain, the parade will be moved to the following Sunday, Oct. 15.
