Long Branch Chamber Bringing First-Ever Taste Of Long Branch Event

LONG BRANCH: While one of the Greater Long Branch Chamber of Commerce's long-running events will not return this year, they will be replacing it with a new way to showcase the city.

The Long Branch Chef Challenge will not be held this year, but in its place the chamber will be holding a new event called A Taste of Long Branch.

"We will be showcasing the local restaurants and their talented chefs," according to the chamber. "We will have 16 restaurants preparing food and there will also be a cash bar."

The list of participating restaurants and chefs has not yet been released.

The event will be held at Rooney's Oceanfront Restaurant at 100 Ocean Avenue North, Long Branch on Jan. 22 from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m..

Tickets for the event are $50 each and all proceeds will benefit the Kay Guadagno Memorial Award & Scholarship Fund at Monmouth Medical Center.

The chamber is saying that there will be a limited amount of seating available for the event so anyone looking to attend should purchase tickets as soon as possible.
To purchase tickets call the chamber at 732-222-0400 or email info@longbranchchamber.org.
