Although the track of the storm is still uncertain, this latest nor'easter is still expected to bring more snow to Monmouth County.
The National Weather Service is reporting that the county could see up to 3 inches of snow beginning around 9 p.m. on Monday, March 12 and lasting through early Tuesday morning. However, there is the potential for more if the storm's path changes.
"There remains uncertainty with the track of the system," the National Weather Service states. "If the storm tracks closer to the coast, the impacts would be greater."
If it tracks further out to sea, there will likely be no snow and if it comes closer to New Jersey, the precipitation could total up to 8 inches in our area with a mix of rain and snow closer to the coast.
Minor coastal flooding is possible for the Tuesday morning high tide along the Monmouth County shoreline.
We'll update this story if the forecast changes in any significant way.
