Gas House Gorillas Performs at The Draft House In West End

Long Branch:  The Draft House in West End was swinging with gorillas, on Sunday evening – The Gas House Gorillas, a rocking group scheduled for the park on Brighton when news of big time storms was heard.  When rain outs happen The Draft House has opened its doors to the music aficionados who visit the West End Park each Sunday.  The weekly outdoor theater event  is the  Blues By the Beach summer concert series.  

While the much of the regular crowd stayed away due to the weather, the Draft House made it a fun night for all who did show up, including the “D-H regulars” who frequent the local West End watering hole.  The D-H is a favorite stop on any typical summer Sunday after the beach scene is over for the day.

The Rock and Roll quintessential - instrumentalists turned in a top performance for the milk and cookies crowd at the bar and the sarsaparilla sippers at the tables.  Hosts and hostesses kept the kitchen busy and guests happy.  The 90 minute non-stop joy ride was a Fun City success.
