Cookie Bar, Ice Cream and Jewelry Are West End's Latest Additions

  Email

The retail churn in Long Branch's West End continues as stores are still coming and going along Brighton Avenue and 2nd Avenue.

However, this time there's no new closures to announce, only new businesses that are occupying the once-vacant spaces.

Becca's Cookie Bar has taken the place of Hello Chef at 204 2nd Ave. Becca's is a bakery which serves up cookies, bars and small cakes and can also turn these small treats into ice cream sandwiches. The bakery also has vegan and gluten-free options. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new business will be held on Thursday, Aug. 17 at 11 a.m.

The former Dunkin Donuts at 638 Ocean Ave., which recently reopened down the road, is reopening as 0° Ice Cream. The business is not yet open but a "coming soon" sign is on the window and has been for just over a month.

Finally, the space once occupied by Arcomano Opticians at 78 Brighton Ave., will soon be reopening as Delson Fine Jewelery. The store will likely be open to the public soon as the interior looks to be complete and some of their wares are already on display
