On Feb. 5, police officers responded to multiple locations in Colonial Terrace for burglaries. While canvassing the scenes officers discovered that exterior surveillance cameras may have captured a suspect. The footage revealed a person of interest whose photos were subsequently posted on social media. With assistance from the public, we received an anonymous tip which led to his identity.

Detectives Martone and Orbach continued their investigation, recovered stolen property and arrested Neidel Pacheco in Asbury Park. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the station for processing.

Pachaco was charged with three counts of burglary, theft and criminal mischief. Pacheco was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Intuition where he'll remain until his initial court appearance.
