2 West Long Branch Roads To Be Repaved Next Week

WEST LONG BRANCH: Two roads will be repaved next week as part of the borough's 2016 Road Improvement Program.

According to the West Long Branch Police, Century Drive between Whalepond Road and Windsor Drive is scheduled to be repaved on or about Aug. 15, weather permitting.

The work is expected to take 1-2 days and the road will be closed except for local traffic, school/camp buses and emergency vehicles.

Fulton Avenue is scheduled to be milled and paved on or about Aug. 16., weather permitting.

The work is expected to take 3-4 days and the road will be closed except for local traffic, school/camp buses and emergency vehicles.

Both roads are small and are not considered major throughways in the borough, but the residents in these areas should be aware of the upcoming closures.

Police are asking anyone with questions to call the Borough Engineer's office at 732-865-9492.
